Storyline Name: The Dark Side of the Rose

Plot Summary: Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask are giving it their all in a fight against the Dead Moon Circus. The fight is nearly over when Nehelenia steps in and sends Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask into separate dream worlds. Tuxedo Mask lands in the perfect world. This is a world where he is with his parents. His parents never died in the car crash. Sailor Moon is sent to a nightmarish world where she is in a relationship with Prince Demando. He is an abusive boyfriend. Usagi is convinced this new world is a reality and while she is constantly living in fear, she is alive, hoping somehow, someway it’s all wrong and that Mamoru will come to save her. 

As more time passes Mamoru realizes he is in a dream world. He breaks free and finds himself in Usagi's dream. When he finds her, she is in an unstable state. It will be up to Mamoru to convince Usagi that she is in a dream world and that he is her reality. Mamoru has to get Usagi to remember she is engaged to him. Mamoru has to wake Usagi up to help her realize that being with him is real and her time with Demando was just a nightmare.

Details on any necessary information: In this story Usagi and Mamoru are engaged and living together. The story follows the canon of Nehelenia sending them into their dream worlds but the two are already engaged (before the Stars Arc) 

Restrictions: No other senshi, no other villains. Any other characters needed will be NPC’d by Yami or myself. No otaku.

Usagi had been in a deep sleep. She was in a happy dream with Mamoru. They were laying out under a sakura tree just sharing a moment with each other. To some it would not be considered special, but just being in Mamoru’s arms was enough to make Usagi happy. 

Usagi slowly woke from her slumber. She laid in bed while her vision became clearer. As she looked around she noticed that there was nothing in this room that she recognized. She sat up and looked around the room once more, but all she saw was darkness. She suddenly felt cold and pulled the covers for her. She turned to see if maybe this was some kind of trick and Mamoru would be by her side, but he was not. 

Usagi gazed down at her hand which adorned her engagement ring. “Mamo-chan,” she whispered as she felt a hint of fear.

Just where was she?

The door to the bedroom opened up and Demando stepped inside. He saw Usagi still in bed so he just walked over to the windows and pulled back the blinds. The sun came shining through to show it was morning.

"It's time to get up, Usako," he said and turned to Usagi.

Usagi turned when she heard someone call out Usako. She had expected to see Mamoru, but was shocked to see someone else. She froze when she saw the white hair and lavender eyes.

This cannot be real I must be dreaming, Serenity thought as she backed away from Diamond.


“I will not get up, get away from me and don’t you call me Usako, that name is reserved for my boyfriend.” She said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Demando just walked over to her pulled off the covers to her. " I am your boyfriend silly." He then pointed to a picture of them that was on their dresser. "Now get up. Today's your birthday and I'm taking you shopping." He then left the room so Usagi could get dress.
